66th Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations Predictions: Mid-May Update

There were only two updates on the Emmys front in the past few weeks.  The first was that the Christopher Plummer-starring episode of Great Performances, “Barrymore”, will not be eligible for the Emmys.  Another spot in the Lead Actor in a Miniseries/Movie is now open while the competition for the TV Movie category becomes a little less crowded.  The second is that Rosemary’s Baby premiered to poor reviews and even worse ratings.  It’s probably out of the running even if it is a decent production that deserves more attention for its star, Zoe Saldana, than some potential nominees (such as Helena Bonham Carter) do.
